UMW Mission Work Team to McCurdy Mission in Espanola, NM- Here's some facts!

Greetings all,

I wanted to share some information and statistics from our mission trip this month to McCurdy Mission is Espanola, NM.  The need for mission partners is real in the Espanola Valley.  Poverty is very high and it is has the highest rate of death from overdose of heroin in the nation.

Here's the facts:

We took a 15 member team.

We worked 4 days.

We brought donations of $1,920.13.

We donated over 998 soup labels.

We donated 2004 box tops for education.

We worked for 369.25 hours.

Let's celebrate this mission and all the blessings we both gave and received.

We'll have a sign up at the Annual Autumn Gathering on October 6 at Temple FUMC for the 2013 CTC UMW Mission Trip to Sager Brown in Baldwin, LA June 16-22.  Get your name of the list ASAP.  I think this one is going to fill up quickly!!!

If you haven't registered for our 40th Annual Autumn Gathering, please do so today.  We want you to come join the celebration!

Blessings,

Cynthia
